The latest project to be delivered to CSIRO Q CAT Pullenvale, Queensland is a Rotary Indurator to test iron ore agglomerates, such as pellets. The furnace will be used to test iron ore samples prior to supplying the product to the smelter for processing.

A brief description of the equipment:-

• Operating capacity of 10 litres - 15 litres maximum.
• 1350 deg C operating temperature.
• LPG/air burner with oxygen enrichment.
• Able to increase temperature from 1000 deg C to 1300 deg C within 10 minutes.
• Variable speed drum drive.
• Actuator operated movement of the burner and loading door.
• Tilting of the drum between -20O and +24O.
• Swing away burner and loading shute.
